Welcome, and thank you for visiting Centre Glenville United Methodist Church online. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.
We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
Our church offers a traditional setting for your most sacred celebration.

Sunday November 10, 2019 – I really love our Friends, Family and Community Breakfasts every second Sunday of each month. It is a great way to start the day with genuine Christian Fellowship and a very nutritious meal prepared by the loving hands of our Centre Glenville UMC men. This was a very special Sunday because we had the Rev’s Randy and Anita Trythall and their lovely daughter Catie with us in Worship. They are family with some of our long time church members. Rev’s Randy and Anita did a large part of the Worship service and we were all blessed by their ministry insights and the message they gave us. The Trythall family is integral to a ministry called “Operation Helping Hand – Project Zambia”. Our Centre Glenville church family has partnered with the Trythall family and their affiliation with “Operation Helping Hand – Project Zambia”. I encourage you to visit their Web Site at https://ohhz.org/ to learn more about this very powerful and life changing ministry. We also celebrated our Veterans who have sacrificed so much to give us our freedom. We remember that Freedom is not FREE, and the cost associated with maintaining it includes the ultimate sacrifice. I served in the US Navy and lost shipmates in defense of our country and our way of life. Although our country is embroiled in turmoil and there are very vocal and active groups who say and do ridiculous things that threaten our nation, I try to remember that I served along with millions of others so that everyone has the Right to express their opinion, no matter how stupid and self-serving it may be. It is very sad that the vast majority of people who focus on and demand their Rights, do not have a clue about their Responsibilities. We also watched a short video and were reminded that veterans come in all varieties and are not all white, male Christians. So take time to thank a Veteran the next time you get the chance.
May God Richly Bless Us All – Pastor Eric
